He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bixenman and Mary Bixenman (Ostmeyer); his wife Harriett Beedy; his daughters, Denise and Gerri; and his siblings, Doris Manhart, Stella Krannawitter, Fred and Joe Bixenman.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Bechard (Richard) of Shawnee, KS, Doug Bixenman (Lisa) of Grinnell, KS, Stephanie Ostmeyer (Terry) of Grinnell, KS and Roger Bixenman (Karla) of Hays, KS. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.
