Though John Paul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Paul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Baalman and Sally Baalman (Murphy); his wife Karen; and his brothers, James, Robert and Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Baalman; and his siblings, Rose Koggie (John) and Dan Baalman (Pat). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center- Grinnell (308 Monroe St, Grinnell, KS 67738). A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery- Grinnell Ferris.
