It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Moore of Gridley, Kansas, born in Neosho Falls, Kansas, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hansen and Violet Alta Gregersen (Gillespie); her husband Raymond; her granddaughter Erica Eccles; and her siblings, Gene Gregersen, Virginia Christy and Glen Gregersen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Moore of Topeka, KS, Debbie Birk (Danny) of Gridley, KS, Kimberly Wheeler (Greg) of Paola, KS and Vonda Eccles (David) of Chanute, KS; her grandchildren, Derek Birk (Amy), Damon Birk (Gennifer), Dane Birk (Bri), Katie, Nick, Hunter Wheeler, Devin Eccles (Kelli), Kaci Eccles and Dustin Eccles (Chrissy); and her siblings-in-law, Maurine Wilkinson (Duane) and Daryl Moore (Luetta) of Gridley, KS. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
