It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Purdy of Gridley, Kansas, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Homer Wolcott and Muriel Wolcott (Warnken); her husband Luther Purdy; her siblings, John Wolcott and Lela Gleeson; her children, Richard James Wyble of Massachusetts, Charles Frederick Wyble (Carol) of Los Angeles, CA, Carol Eva Wyble of Toronto, KS and John Mark Wyble (Denise) of Forest, VA; and her siblings, Bernice Haynes of Oklahoma and William Wolcott of Emporia, KS. She was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
