He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Eccles and Freda Eccles (Shaffer); his brother Alan Eccles; his niece Erica Eccles; his stepfather Frank Paskin; and his stepsister Jill Paskin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Eccles (Patty), David Eccles (Vonda), Art Eccles (Denise) and Bev Morris (Jay); his sister-in-law Nancy Eccles; and his stepsiblings, Jeff Paskin (Billie) of Powderly, TX and Judy Westerman (Daryl). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, 32 great-nieces and- nephews; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be used to honor him at the Humboldt Speedway on a later date; contributions may be sent to the Dale Eccles Memorial Fund in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839, or to Citizens State Bank, 410 Main St., Gridley, KS 66852.
