He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Jantz and Elizabeth Jantz (Wadel); his daughter Janet Huffman; and his siblings, Charlie, Clyde, Clarence, Cliff, Curtis Jantz, Betty Otto, Edith Unruh and Leona Eason.
He is survived by: his spouse Velma Lucille Liggett; and his son Jack Jantz (Derenda) of Birmingham, Alabama. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
