He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lohmeyer and Mabel Lohmeyer (Behrens); and his brother Marvin Dale Lohmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Zickler; and his brother Roger Lohmeyer (Tammy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund is established to KLAH Home Health or Lutheran Hour.
