He was predeceased by: his parents, Jurgen Kruse and Florence Kruse (Rodick); his brother Roger; his brothers-in-law, Michael Hogan and Merlin Rogers; and his niece Molly Hammer.
He is survived by: his wife Monica Hogan; his sons, Landon Kruse of Shawnee, KS and Kellen (Chelsea) of Los Angeles, CA; his brother Galen Kruse (Judy); his nephews, Daniel, Jason and Jeremy Kruse; his niece Christine Thompson (Stephen); and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Brun (Howard), Aggie Sullivan (Gary), Johanna Rogers, Maureen Stigge (Norman), Loretta Rahe (Eddie), Theresa Cox (Craig), Ursula Hewitt (Lynn), Kevin Hogan (Debbie), John Hogan (DeDe) and Stephen Hogan (Tina).
