It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Christensen of Greenleaf, Kansas, born in Concordia, Kansas, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Murdock and Esther Murdock (Hagan); her parents-in-law, Harvey and Juanita Christensen; her husband Eugene Christensen; and her siblings, Martha Pellant, Judy Wise, Larry Murdock and James Murdock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Smartt (Jeff) and Jerri Christensen (KC Matthews); her siblings, Linda Huckett (Frank), Tom Murdock and Bob Murdock (Patti); her brothers-in-law, Bill Christensen (Delores), Chris Wise and Pete Pellant; and her grandchildren, Dalton Smartt (Shara), Trent Smartt, Madison Smartt, Morgan Adams, Davoren Christensen and Darcy Christensen. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established and will be designated.
