She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Holmes and Marguerite Coon Holmes; her former husband Donald Casida; her husband Earl Avery; her son Jay Casida; and her brother Jay Holmes.
She is survived by: her former husband William Pierce; her brother Milton; her children, Donald Casida, Diane Gover, Alan Casida and Janet Casida; and her brother Leon Holmes. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
