He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Fluke Ewert and William Wilson Ewert; his nephew Mike Roberts; and his brother-in-law Doug Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his daughter Cassie Hasty (Mike); his grandchildren, Claire and Brendan; his son Adam (Tanya); his grandchildren, Austin, Autumn and Tristian; his daughter Libby Self (Brant); his granddaughters, Harley and Bryar; his sister Joyce Roberts; and his niece Theresa Smith.
