It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vaughn A. Duncan of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Garfield, Kansas, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray A. Duncan and Pearl E. Duncan (Bingaman); his wife Margaret Ruthe Duncan; his son Stephen Ray Duncan; his grandson Brandon Nash Duncan; his great grandchild Ava Watkins; and his siblings, Floyd Duncan, Vern Duncan and Sylvia Snodgrass.
He is survived by: his sons, Von Stewart Duncan (Gayla) of Hudson and David Brent Duncan (Kim) of Valley Center; his sister Ruby Buller of Halstead; his grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Jamie Baxter (Chris), Kynha Duncan, Brent Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Jeremiah Duncan (Megan), Reilly Duncan (Kara), Angela Duncan and Katie Ritz; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Emma, Connor, Sophia, Collin, Landon, Owen, Cooper and Karly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to Trinity United Methodist Church, Great Bend Senior Center or the American Legion Post #300 in Garfield, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
