She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Albert and Ella Faye Baney (Miller); her husband Daniel D. O'Brien; and her siblings, Donald, Robert Baney, Jane Michaelson and Idalene Fink.

She is survived by: her children, Terence O'Brien (Patricia) of Basehor, Kevin O'Brien (Stephanie) of Cheney, Aaron O'Brien of Wichita, Kansas and Marla Anne Habiger (Dennis) of Ellinwood, Kansas; and her grandsons, Shawn, Daniel, Matthew, Patrick, Shane O'Brien, Jason and Joshua Habiger. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
