He is survived by: his wife Marie Heckens; his children, Pat Kern of Great Bend, Loretta Murphy (Jim) and Lisa Mohr of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Rex Kern (Lacey), Jared Kern (Shelby), Taylor Vasquez, Madison Murphy, Dalton Murphy, Kylee Mohr and Slade Mohr; and his great grandchildren, Trenton, Kale, Jett and Nova.
