Shirley Louise Janssen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Louise Janssen of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Smither and Ruth Smither (Brown); her husbands, Larry Larson and Bill Janssen; and her siblings, Merrill Smither, Jr. and Sandra Dyer.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Klucas (Jim) of Salina, Edward Larson (Janice) of Bel Aire, Douglas Larson of Great Bend and Kenneth Larson (Heidi) of Wichita, Kan.; her daughter-in-law Renee Larson of Great Bend; her brother Donald Smither (Iliene); and her grandchildren, Chad Shriver, Elisha Morris, Kristian Larson, Tyler Larson, Danielle Delgadillo, Heather Snapp and Brandon Blackburn. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Shirley Janssen Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
