Sharon Kay Bowers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Bowers of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon Kay may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon Kay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Shelley Bowers; and her brother Karl Fisher. She is survived by: her children, Barry Bowers (Monica) of Great Bend, Robert Bowers (Jane) of Ottawa, Mark Bowers (Shirley) of Great Bend and Shelley Chrivia (Joe) of Lupton, Michigan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to St. Mark Lutheran Church or River Bend Assisted Living, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
