He is survived by: his wife Petra Garcia; his children, Martha Fletcher, Manuel Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Juan A. Garcia, Joaquin Garcia, Maria Ortiz, Salvador Garcia, Jose Alfredo Garcia and Genevia Garcia; and his sister Maria Barraza. He is also survived by thirty-nine grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.
