He is survived by: his children, Christie Flores (Victor) of Great Bend, Mistie Schmidt of Wichita, Scottie Schmidt (Marcy Reeves) of Great Bend, Ronnie Schmidt, Jr. (Angaleen) of Russell, Monte Schmidt (Misti) of Enid, Okla, Lacy Schneweis (Blake) of Wichita, Chancy Schmidt of Great Bend, Cody Schmidt (Kami) of Great Bend and Natch Carassco of Garden City; and his siblings, Steven Schmidt (Christina), Bonnie Standley (Mark) of Wichita, Susan Burleson of Dallas, Tex and Marilyn Reynolds (Kenny) of Holcomb. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
