He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schwager and Luella Schwager (Burhenn); and his siblings, Robert Schwager and Diane Sanders. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeanette Soper of Great Bend, Shirley Headley of Albert, Raymond Schwager (Donita) of Hays, Ricky Schwager of Great Bend and Ron Schwager (Michelle) of Hoisington; and his godchildren, Amanda Baxter, Trevor Schwager and Brogan Unruh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been designated to Holy Family School Endowment or Clara Barton Foundation, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
