He is survived by: his children, Ryan Smith of Topeka, Rachael Colby (Harold) of Franklin, Neb., Jennifer Vratil (Jay) of Great Bend and Annika Smith of Great Bend; and his grandchildren, Trenton Colby, Kendall Colby, Taylor Vratil, Brooke Vratil, Braden Vratil, Kade Vratil, Rylee Smith and Ryan Smith, Jr..
