He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Eugene Sr. and Verna Ogden (Wiggs); his stepparents, Gene Dunnaway and Ruth Odgen; his brother Lonnie Ogden; and his stepbrother Charles "Tom" Dunnaway.
He is survived by: his wife Iris A. Ogden of Great Bend, Kansas; his daughters, Jennifer Ogden of Great Bend, Kansas and Sarah Ogden (Ken Grabast) of Great Bend, Kansas; his grandchildren, Kaden Fowler, Preston Fowler, Corbin Fowler, Raya Ogden, Ryker Ogden, CharlieAnn Grabast, Alex Grabast and Alyvia Grabast; his siblings, Richard Ogden of Ellinwood, Kansas and LaDonna Vu of Galveston, Texas; and his stepsiblings, Joe Dunnaway (Ruth) of Great Bend, Brenda Hayes (Ronald) of Great Bend and Lynn White (Sean) of Fort Mohave, Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
