He is survived by: his mother Louise Pierce (Lemuz); his spouse Melaine Feemster; his children, Zach Pierce of Columbus, Zane Pierce of Great Bend, Kansas, Destanie McKay, Jada VanderMeer and Peter VanderMeer; his siblings, Cindy Montorsi of San Diego, California and Brian Pierce of San Diego, California; and his granddaughter Aubrey Rose McKay.
