He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dailey and Edith Dailey (Kummer); his son Richard Jr.; his wife Martie; his siblings, James, William, Jack Jr., Donald "Dee", Jerry Dailey, Peggy Dailey, Patricia Dillard, Eleanor Dailey, Dorotha "Dottie" Hershey and Janiece Burke; and his nephews, John Dailey and Paul Hershey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Rutt (Chuck) of Windsor and Sandra Dailey of Severance, Colorado; his granddaughter Kyla Rutt of Windsor, Colorado; his former wife Merna Dailey; and his stepdaughter Felicia Taylor of Georgia. He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.
Dick was dedicated to volunteering with these groups, including adoration, bingo and Helping People with Disabilities Tootsie Roll Donation.
