With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Buess (Great Bend, Kansas), who passed away on December 15, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Buess and Mary Buess; his brother John Buess; and his grandson Dustin Buess. He is survived by: his daughter Kerri; his wife Doris Montgomery; his children, Richard Buess of Great Bend, Rodney Buess of Great Bend, Jeff Lutt (Melissa) of Great Bend, Karlyn Jantz (Karl) of Pecos, Kerrie Buess of Great Bend and Michelle Hertel of Fort Worth, Tex.; his sister Margie Buess of Fort Worth, Tex.; his grandchildren, Kody Jantz, Kory Jantz, Kalyn Jantz, Kasey Jantz, Hope Buess, Derrick Buess, Jessica Hertel, Barrett Lutt, Ellie Lutt and Destiny Stickney; and his great grandchildren, Dallas Buess, Jamie Lynn Buess, Desiree Buess, Jarex Buess and Alexa Buess.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are designated to Golden Belt Humane Society or Rivercross Hospice in Wichita, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
