He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Button and Peggy L. Button (Geil); and his stepmother Coralie Button (Niedens). He is survived by: his former wife Sue Showalter; his wife Renee Button; his children, James Button (Kelli) of Emporia, Michael Button (Holly) of Tulsa, OK, Laura Webster (Daniel) of Broken Arrow, OK and Zachariah Button (Kellyn) of Merriam; his stepchildren, Danielle Gittings of Las Vegas, NV, Maria Germaine of Las Vegas, NV and Paul Widiger (Jessica) of Russell; and his siblings, Robert "Rob" Button (RoAnn) of Great Bend, Debra Hill (Bill) of Bountiful, UT and Judy VonFeldt (Jim) of Manhattan. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Larned State Hospital (to benefit the Music Therapy Dept), in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
