He was predeceased by: his parent Terry Kern; and his brother Michael "Mike" Kern. He is survived by: his mother Marie Kern (Heckens); his son Rex Kern (Lacey) of Great Bend; his grandsons, Trenton Kern of Great Bend and Kale Kern of Great Bend; his sisters, Loretta Murphy (James) of Great Bend and Lisa Mohr of Great Bend; and his nieces and nephews, Jared Kern (Shelby), Madison, Dalton Murphy, Taylor, Kylee, Slade Mohr, Jett and Nova Kern.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
