With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orlin Leslie Loucks of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Loucks and Pearl Loucks (Koehn); his brother Lynn Loucks; and also, Robert Beck and Lois Koehn.
He is survived by: his wife Dora; his sons, Leslie Loucks (Rhonda) of Halstead and Mark Loucks (DeNay) of Otis, Kan.; his grandchildren, Andrew Loucks (Jennifer), Christopher Loucks, Bethanny Bowen (Jordan), David Loucks, Nathan Loucks, Joshua Loucks, Isabelle Loucks, Tanner Loucks and Kailyn Loucks; his great grandchildren, Amelia Loucks, Eliana Loucks and Daniel Bowen; his sister Marlene Vargas of Chicago; and also, Nancy Ummel (Tom) of Great Bend and Shirley Smart (Bob) of Great Bend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Great Bend Public Library or the Mennonite Cemetery Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bends, KS 67530.
