She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Joseph and Vera Maddy; her husband Maurice Smith; her sons, Darrell and James Smith; her siblings, Bobby, Donald Maddy and Ruth Maddy; and her great great grandchild Gabriel Cedillo.
She is survived by: her sons, Luther R. Smith (Laura Thomason) of Lakin, Richard A. Smith (Chris) of Pierceville and Donald W. Smith (Pam) of Great Bend; her brothers, Carl Maddy of Wichita and David Maddy of Arizona; and her grandchildren, Rosalie Spencer of Alabama, Amanda Smith of Holcomb, Holly Rohling (Ryan) of Hutchinson, Ryan Henneberg (Brenda) of Wichita, Dustin Smith (Amanda) of Olmitz, Tyler Smith (Urlene) of Aurora and Heather Montoya (Angel) of Great Bend. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
