It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melina Paz Chavez of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melina Paz Chavez to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her parents, Jose Conception Chavez and Maria Santos Espinoza Bonilla; her brothers, Yobany Salazar (Sharon) of Tulsa, Okla, Chon Chavez of Dallas, Tex and Bobby Chavez (Ben Blood) of Great Bend; and her nieces, Ariel and Rayla Salazar. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Memorials have been designated to the Melina Chavez Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
