Volpert of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Chanute, Kansas, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Shaner and Lula Shaner (Taylor); her husband Everette; her stepson Greg Volpert; and her son-in-law Willard Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Volpert (Dee) of Great Bend, Teresa Dimond (Jeff) of Chanute, Jeanette Hodges of St. George and Debbie Wisehardt of Manhattan, Kan.; and her stepchildren, Nancy Volpert of Kent, Wash. and Jeff Volpert (Trina) of Topeka, Kan.. She is also survived by one sister; and 23 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Great Bend Senior Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton, Rd., Great Bend, KS.
