He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Fick and Florence Fick (Adams); his daughter Jayne Shumate; and his brothers, Marvin Fick and John Fick.
He is survived by: his wife Darleta Chism; his children, Ben Shumate of Ellinwood, William Fields (Amanda) of Seward, Travis Chism of Great Bend, Shaminy Clone of Great Bend and Stacie Murray (Mike) of Great Bend; his siblings, Neldon Fick of Ellsworth, Karen Wenger of Salina, Lynette Snyder (Jim) of Oklahoma City, Okla and Marlene Frederick of Salina; his grandchildren, Aaron Shumate, Bradley Shumate, Hadleigh Shumate Thorne, Damien Clone, Domynick Clone, Jaylynn Clone, Mario Leon, Shelby Turner Fields, Shadow Meyers, William Fields Jr., Marcus Fields, Lucian Fields, Emilie Murray, Jacob Murray, Maddie Murray, Tate Murray, Bayne Chism and Ryley Chism; and his great grandchildren, Nataleigh Murray, Noahh Murray and Nyler Murray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
