She is survived by: her spouse Clarence Mermis Nov; her children, C. J. Mermis (Patricia) of Great Bend, Ronald Mermis of Fla, RoseAnn Burkhart (Gerald) of Wichita, Ruth Maneth (John) of Golden and Kathy Richards of Wichita; her daughter-in-law Susan Sayson of Manhattan; her grandchildren, Robbie Mermis, Brett Mermis (Kory), Bryan Mermis (Ellen), Dawn Reed, Anjie Weidman (Jamie), Jeremy Burkhart (Joni), Johnny Maneth (Angie), Kim Lambertson (John) and Kenzie Richards; and her brothers, Bill Pelzel of Hays and James Pelzel (Valeria) of Wichita. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
