She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Fischer and Emma Fischer (Weigt); her husband George W. Blakeslee, Jr.; and her brother Elton Fischer. She is survived by: her children, Kent Blakeslee (Julie) of Ellinwood, Darrel Blakeslee of Dumas, Texas and Karen Blakeslee of Manhattan; her grandchildren, Eric Blakeslee (Mackenzie) of Ellinwood and Kyle Blakeslee (Marissa) of Wichita; her great grandchild Kassidy Blakeslee; her sister Leona Fischer of Hutchinson; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Fischer of Seward, Juanita Fischer of Stafford, Norma Blakeslee of St. John and Helen Boyd of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to First Congregational United Church of Christ or Barton County 4-H, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
