It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Joseph Boor (Great Bend, Kansas), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Boor and Margaret Boor (Axman); his wife Doreen Kuntz; his brothers, Gerry Boor and Jim Boor; and his brother-in-law Gary Bates.
He is survived by: his friends, Dave, Connie and Jim Dunlap; his children, Glenn Boor (Cortney Boor) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Cheryl Flack (Eric Flack) of Lee's Summit, Diana Wildman (Darrin Wildman) of Abilene and Sarah McTighe (Michael McTighe) of Gilbert, Arizona; his grandchildren, Garrett Flack, Devan Haberman-Stramel (Jeff Haberman-Stramel), Courtney Thoren (Eric Thoren), Gavin Boor, Collin Boor, Nolan Boor, Maddie Wildman, Geoff Maxwell, Noah Wildman, Emma Wildman, Rylee McTighe and Ryken McTighe; his great grandchildren, Zelda Thoren and Nathan Maxwell; and his sisters, Donna Bates of Hoisington, Loretta Finger (Robert "Jose") of Hoisington and Judy Conley (Kirby) of Wichita. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (4100 Broadway Ave, Great Bend, KS 67530).
