He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Arnold and Edna Arnold (Firestone); and his siblings, Barbara Manka and Ronald Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Earlene Meckfessel; his children, Scott Arnold (Terry Huffman) of Kansas City, Missouri and Jolene Kirmer (Phil) of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Kylene Baxa (Ken) of Salina, Kevin Kirmer (Dava) of Great Bend and Kelli Kirmer (Anthony Miller) of Wichita; his great grandchildren, Kenzie Baxa, Aubrie Baxa, Ben Baxa, Amelia VanSteenburgh, Masen VanSteenburgh, Atlee Kirmer and Elizabeth Miller; his siblings, Jimmy Arnold of El Paso, John Arnold III of Larned, Marie Walker of El Paso and Ruth Bronson (Wendel) of Del Rio, Texas; and his sister-in-law Sharon Arnold of Larned. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
