He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Tournear and Mildred Tournear; his wife Dorothy Mae "Dot" Hurst; his brother Gail Tournear; and his daughter-in-law Ann Tournear.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Tournear of Great Bend, Kim Tournear of Oklahoma and Kristy Caldwell of Oklahoma; and his brothers, Ron (Barb) of Great Bend and Gary Tournear (Sali) of Vernal, Utah.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
