She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Ward and Delores Ward (Thompson); her husband Alfred "Al" Spears; her brothers, Bruce and Donnie Ward; and her brother-in-law Bennie Dills.
She is survived by: her sons, Donnie E. Beeler of Great Bend, Loren Duane Spears (Gretchen) of Noblesville and Tracy Allen Spears of Great Bend; her siblings, Robert Ward of Anthony, David Ward of Sedelia, Mildred Dills of Great Bend and Cheryl Thompson of Versailles, Missouri; and her stepmother Anneliese Ward of Great Bend. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been designated to the COPD Foundation or American Heart Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
