He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Koochel and Dorothy Koochel (Wilhelm); and his brother Larry Koochel. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Mauler; and his daughter Tina Koochel of Great Bend.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (4100 Broadway Ave, Great Bend, KS 67530). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
