He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schnittker and Dora Schnittker; and his siblings, Norman Schnittker, John Schnittker, Don Schnittker and Joan Schnittker.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Leonard; his sons, Craig Schnittker of Great Bend, Clay Schnittker (Jill Schnittker) of Lenexa, KS and Christopher Schnittker of Franklin, TN; his grandchildren, Kaylie Schnittker of Lincoln, NE, Max Schnittker of Wichita, Alec Schnittker of Lenexa and Jack Schnittker of Lenexa; and his friend Eleanor Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to Wounded Warrior and Prince of Peace Parish, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
