She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Jacobs and Mary Jacobs (Schupman); her son John Taylor, Jr.; and her sister Joyce May. She is survived by: her husband Bernard "Bernie" Karlin; her children, Chad Hallmark of Lorraine, Shawn DeHaan (Elisha) of Texas and Jennifer Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri; and her stepchildren, William Karlin (Stephanie) of Erie, Colorado and Angela Silverthorn (Steve) of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
