Jean E. Martin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean E. Martin of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Hoisington, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Esten Stehwein and Blanche Stehwein (Jennings); her siblings, Barbara Vinyard, Betty Millard, Carol Sue Behr, Kitty Schremmer and John Stehwein; her former husbands, Gary Lowry and Verl Martin; and her son-in-law Bob Purnell.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Lowry (Cai) of St. Hedwig and Connie J. Purnell of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jesi Crispin (Justin), Derek Lowry, Kylei Lowry, Brett Purnell and Ryan Purnell; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Crispin, Blake Crispin and Evyn Crispin; and her siblings, Bill Stehwein (Juanita) of Pequannock, Judy Linker of Enid and Julie Thorne (Harold) of Hoisington.
Memorial Contributions be made to either the Ronald McDonald House or the Golden Belt Humane Society at Great Bend.
