We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2021, at the age of 50, Jarrod Mark Thurston of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James B. Thurston; and his grandparents, Harry, Frances Thurston, Joe and Bernice Berning.

He is survived by: his mother Jolene K. Thurston (Berning) of Great Bend, Kansas; his siblings, Jason Thurston (Shari) of Overland Park, Kansas and Janee' Bernal (Jesse) of Wichita, Kansas; and his nieces and nephews, Jacey Thurston, Braydon Thurston, JohnPaul Bernal, Gabriella Bernal and Jude Bernal.

The family suggests memorial donations be made in his honor to the Hays High School Class of 1989 or the Jarrod Thurston Funeral Expense Fund.
