With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Marie Reed of Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janis Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno Jensen and Jesse Jensen. She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Reed of Great Bend; her children, Troy Reed (Carrie) of Odgen, Tyler Reed (Emily) of Great Bend and Tammy McKay (Brent) of Eugene, Oregon; and her siblings, Frank Sell of Hutchinson, Carol Malone of Owasso and Joyce Wapelhorst (Dan) of Great Bend. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions be made in Janis's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
