James R. Pfister Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Pfister (Great Bend, Kansas), who passed away on January 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Madalyn Saunders; his son Jimmy; his parents, Daniel Pfister and Lora Pfister (Riggen); and his brother Jerry Pfister.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Wood (Dale) of Great Bend, Valorie Rosinski (Mike) of Great Bend, Vencette MacLaren of Lincoln and Vivian "Joan" Pfister of Great Bend, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Richard Doll (Jean), Amy Gosnell, Kristina Johnson, Natalie Hoke (Craig), Angela Miles, Kevin Duntz (Candace), Becky Lazatin (Doug), Jessica Fitzgerald (Nic), John Currall (Rocio), Melissa Keller (Joel), Lauren Faulks (Bodie), Nathan Barta (Dani), Billy Pfister (Kylie) and Jami Downing (Isaac). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the Jim Pfister Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
