He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Steitz and Emilie Steitz (Mateyec); and his brothers, Bill Steitz and Dan Steitz. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Steitz; his children, Bailee Tucker, Miranda Tucker and Cason Tucker; his grandson Brendan Steitz; his siblings-in-law, Lynda Steitz, Gail Drotts and Ken Van Winkle (Paula); and his nieces and nephews, Jaime, Nicole, Jorja, Mikel, Kandee, Kathy, Kerrie, Kristy, Todd, Martha Wondra, Tiffany (Tim), Tamara (Mark), Jessi, Abi (Chris) and Olivia.
