James Lee Canfield Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lee Canfield of Great Bend, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Luther" Canfield and Agnes Canfield (Nichols); and his sister Nadine Schartz. He is survived by: his wife Leona M. Wondra; his children, Scott Canfield (Julie) of Wichita, Sandra Branham of Great Bend and Marla Canfield (Craig Schulte) of Andover; and his grandchildren, Derek Branham of Kansas City, Cody Branham (Crosby) of Wichita, Hallee Jones (Bailey) of Derby and A. J. Canfield (Aleyna) of Newton. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to the Golden Belt Humane Society or Ellinwood Community Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
