He is survived by: his parents, Reina Rivas and Antonio Rivas; his pet Vaquero; his wife Megan Padilla (Ludwig); his parents-in-law, Tina Ludwig and Scott; his siblings, Raul Rivas (Josie), William Rivas, Red Padilla, Lionel Padilla (Joann), Bill Padilla (Vicki), Kiko Padilla (Leova), Cuca Duran (Carlos), Licha Guerrero (Peo) and Sandra Padilla (Mario); and his half-sisters, Imelda and Lizeth.

Memorials may be given to the Jaime Padilla-Zapata Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
