We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2020, at the age of 86, Jackie Lee Messick of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Sterling, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. O. "Jack" and Dora Hughbanks Messick; his wife Leila Pearce; his son William "Bo" Messick; his brother Bud Messick; and his grandson Kent Messick.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Taylor Doll; his children, Fred Messick (Debbie) of Valley Center, KS, Jay Miller (Karol) of Great Bend, KS and Cathy Coon (Danny) of Eureka, KS; and his sisters, Bobbie Shultz (Darrel) of Ellinwood, KS and Kay Fore (John) of Lyons, KS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Raymond Baptist Church Steeple Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
