He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Richardson and Edith Richardson (Sanner); his daughter Vicki Richardson of Great Bend, Kan.; his daughter-in-law Carla Richardson of Woodward, Okla.; his grandson Josh Richardson (Lexi) of Edmond, Okla.; his sisters, Margaret, Betty and Joan; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Kevin Williams and PeggySue Brown; his wife Shari Richardson; and his son David Richardson. He was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to United Way of Central Kansas' Laundry Love Project, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
