It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ivan Leon Mettscher (Great Bend, Kansas), born in Hudson, Kansas, who passed away on July 26, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George (Hank) and Pearl Mettscher (Clark); and his son Randall. He is survived by: his son-in-law Norman; his wife Martha; his brother Marvin Mettscher of Hutchinson; his daughter Vicky Dayton (Norman Dayton); his grandsons, Ryan Dayton of Great Bend and Eric Dayton (Nikki); his great grandchildren, Liam Ivan Dayton and Loryn Linn Dayton of Lawrence; his daughter-in-law Lisa Mettscher of Montrose; and his granddaughter Randi Mettscher of Balmorhea.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be given to the Nazarene Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
